@DPCIreland This is great news! I could never understand how this could be allowed in recent years as it takes the negotiation out of the deal. I believe this will help stabilise house prices.

@culladgh I don’t hear much empathy from @LeoVaradkar about families that have particularly difficult situations. I am also fortunate but not every family is and I like living in a society where our country does have a duty of care for those less fortunate. It’s the right thing to do.

Leo Varadkar on the Six O' Clock Show. He talks about the importance of care within the family and the state should strive to support that Leo saying the quiet part outloud. He goes on to say he personally doesn't believe it's the State's responsibility but the families'

It’s time the fast pace of increased employer costs were highlighted. Employers want to pay employees correctly but speedy increased costs do not allow adequate budgeting adjustments before costs take effect for employers #costofhiring

@jenhoganjourno It’s such a pity remote working isn’t embraced more. It’s mutually beneficial for the employer (increased talent available) and the employee’s work life balance (thus reduced staff turnover) #flexidesk #WorkLifeBalance

@OHanlonEilis I think the core frustration is the lack of individual accountability. Accountability is the core of the private sector and until accountability exists in the public sector, further occurrences will most certainly occur. Reviews of RTE are pointless when no penalties exist.

I actually agree with those who say that the row over Ryan Tubridy has gone too far, but I think they're missing the point. It's about a deep sense of unfairness in Irish society generally. This just happened to be the trigger for the crisis. So let's discuss the unfairness.
