@itsnot_pink Julia, patients with other germline mutations such as RAD51c might be responders to PARP inhibition. Unfortunately there is no hint yet that somatic mutations will be good biomarkers for PARPi response. Excluding HER2+ patients is actually a matter of simplifying study design...

3 questions on this: 1) Can PARBs work for patients w/ germline non-BRCA mutation? Which ones? 2) Can PARBs work for patients w/ somatic non-BRCA mutations? Which ones? 3) Why were HER2+ patients left out of PARB approvals (having a BRCA mutations doesn't exclude being HER2+)
