I don’t see it with Caleb Wilson as a draft option for the Jazz.
He seems to be Taylor Hendricks, if Taylor had happened to be a 5-star recruit and had the game plan drawn up around him in college.
Taylor/Caleb will be a fine NBA player, and is a great pick at around 10ish, but I would pass on him if the Jazz are picking at 4 or higher

They made themselves bad in the first place by resting healthy players and getting fined in the process. No one feels sorry for them when they were able to make the playoffs once they tried. They spent the next three seasons manipulating their game day rosters to get a better pick to go beyond a first-round exit. Karma's a bitch!

I don’t know if the Jazz would’ve tanked this year if they’d gotten Cooper Flagg. By making tanking less valuable the NBA incentivized the Jazz to do it longer.
The goal is to make bad teams better as quickly as possible not moralize over the reasons why they’re bad.

So true. If teams who don't have talent get talent then they'll stop being bottom dwellers sooner. Opening it up for more teams to qualify for the top pick potentially extends bottom dwelling behavior. It's terrible.
