Tanner Horner, 34, opened the interview saying, “I imagine that you have, basically, a list and bullet points that you want to know from me.”
Horner then said, “There’s only one thing in this world that I want. I want a month.”
He added, “You can’t do that, I understand. Even if y’all have to put an ankle monitor on me, GPS monitor, check-ups with you.”
Horner told investigators, “If you give me a month with my family, so I can have Christmas with my son, I’ll tell you everything.”
When told that was not possible while he was under arrest for murder, he replied, “Either way, that’s basically my price.”

🚨 Senseless murder in Five Points/Curtis Park 4/9.
Yesterday shortly before 1 p.m. in the 1100 block of 32nd Street near Arapahoe:
⚫️ A man first assaulted a pregnant woman, throwing her to the ground and trying to steal her keys and phone.
⚫️ A neighbor intervened…he recorded the attack, got into a struggle with the suspect (a gun fell, neighbor picked it up), and helped the woman escape to her car.
⚫️ While this was happening, 22-year-old Kaylen Stroter went into an apartment building, came back out still armed, and approached a RANDOM man who was simply walking his dog on the public sidewalk.
Witnesses say Stroter looked at the dog walker and asked, “What the f*** you looking at?” before shooting him in the head at close range. The victim had zero involvement in the earlier assault or intervention; he was randomly targeted.
The dog walker died from his injuries. The pregnant woman was treated at a hospital. Stroter was arrested nearby and faces first-degree murder charges. Police recovered at least one handgun.
This wasn’t a robbery. It wasn’t a fight. It was cold-blooded, random violence in broad daylight on a neighborhood sidewalk. This is the second act of random gun violence in less than a week.

Abdirashid Ismail Said, 48, was charged in December 2023 with leading an $11 million Medicaid fraud scheme in Minnesota, the largest in the Attorney General’s office history. He operated three home health agencies despite a 2022 fraud conviction that barred him from working with Medicaid-funded programs.
He was charged with racketeering, perjury, and eight counts of aiding and abetting theft by swindle.
Despite his prior fraud conviction, the seriousness of the charges, and being a flight risk, a judge allowed him to post bail and keep his passport, enabling him to skip town before a pretrial hearing this week.
