Perhaps AI is not such a threat after all, especially if one is a purist, and believes unequivocally that LLMs will never match that of an accomplished writer. The fact that there is a lot of chatter on this subject on social media, that human writers are now mistaken for AI writers, takes nothing from the human writer in any shape or form, and that perhaps they shouldn't be as worried as they seem to be. In essence, imitation is what happens when something lesser borrows from something greater.

The reason more people are starting to think a human writer's work is AI is that it now precisely mimics humans. It's learned from human writers just as human writers learned from absorbing and echoing those writers before them. That's how style evolves. Not all Flat-Earthers are equally far gone. Some are cranks, and some are performing scepticism for attention. Some have fallen into an online subculture that rewards distrust, and some have simply lost the plot. But their argument is indefensible.

It turns out that the Orion capsule's toilet fault involved ice blocking the urine disposal line and nothing to do with anyone taking a massive dump. The crew have been using backup urine bags and the solid-waste side of the system is perfectly fine. #ArtemisII

A flat-earther would say, "They never show you the Earth edge-on." So, as there are no images in that respect, the Earth must be flat. I guess that's their logic.

No. What you say is false. The Moon keeps the same side turned toward Earth because its rotation period matches its orbit around Earth. So there is a near side and a far side, not a permanently dark side. The far side gets sunlight just as the near side does over the course of the lunar cycle. Any Google search would tell you this.

So, it turns out that the pain in my upper back is due to a subtle compression fracture of the T5 vertebra, with 6 to 8 weeks recovery time, which can be managed by pain relief and rest. Rest? What is this word they speak of? 😳
