It was an distinct honour for Team @ONRuralAffairs to host Mr. Dara Calleary, Ireland’s Minister for Rural Community Development and the Gaeltacht of Ireland ☘️yesterday at Queen’s Park (albeit I had to join virtually) to exchange rural community development knowledge, challenges and best practices. Minister Calleary was joined by Honourable John Concannon, Ambassador of Ireland and Claire Fitzgibbon, Ireland’s Consul General. We shared many synergies starting with a dedicated ministry for rural development and a ‘whole of government approach’ to supporting rural communities!
