@dudenamedslip I hope Veach has the option to trade down, if he doesn't, I would take the best player available which would probably be Caleb Downs (An Eric Berry Clone). Then take Edge with the 29th pick, still good value later in the draft at that position.

Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source. Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft. Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.

Trent McDuffie had crazy short arms but the tape was outstanding, and he found a way to still be an impactful outside corner.
Bain's arms are short but the tape is exceptional.

If your entire analysis around Rueben Bain is "but the arm length" you need to turn on the tape. No player is boiled down to a single threshold or measurement.

Free agency/trade movement made the picture a bit murkier for RB Jeremiyah Love, LB Sonny Styles and Edge Rueben Bain. For Love (my No.1 prospect): if not TEN (4), is it WAS (7) or a team trading up? Styles: if not NYG (5), which signed Edmunds, is it all the way down to CIN (10)? For Bain: Reese and Bailey go top-10. Several other teams addressed Edge. KC (9) feels like OT and CIN (10) could be Stlyles or DS Downs. Where’s his landing spot?

Love the Khyiris Tonga signing for KC. Not only is a basic improvement for the run D up the middle but the fit is great.
Spags wants attacking NTs who can get into gaps THEN control space/fall back into another gap. Tonga has really good initial knock-back & burst to do that.

Maybe time to ruffle some feathers... As long as Karlaftis can return a bit to form next year after recovering from his broken thumb - his contract is looking like a pretty big win for the Chiefs. Some of the Edge contracts given out in FA so far are obscene.
