Today we announced the first #BikeNYC lanes to be hardened as part of our commitment to fortify half the city's existing delineator-protected bike lanes. Construction is already complete at two locations in Manhattan, with others receiving similar treatment in the coming weeks.

@GershKuntzman Yesterday I was riding my bike out late (10PMish) when a car with plate covers honks at me then speeds by and runs a red at the next intersection. These people think they're untouchable, thank you for service!

Someone has to say it: Elon Musk has lied for 27 years about his credentials. He does not have a BS in Physics, or any technical field. Did not get into a PhD program. Dropped out in 1995 & was illegal. Later, investors quietly arranged a diploma - but not in science. 🧵1/

It's that time of year again, when the season changes. And by season I mean the dominant COVID variant. Will it be BQ.1.1 or another BA.5 variant, or BA.2.75.2, or another BA.2 variant? If it's a BA.2 variant, the switchover will show up again in @walgreens data.

There are too many new #SARSCoV2 variants on the radar screen that show growth advantage vs BA.5, and 2 with extreme immune evasiveness to date. One is a BA.5 descendant, BQ.1.1; the other is derived from BA.2, BA.2.75.2. They share a RBD mutation, R346T (Maps from @PeacockFlu)

It has been zero hours since I last wrote some variation of `given a list of Either[E, A] return to me all the Es and all the As`. In the std library? Nope. In cats? not really (you can mess with Ior but it short circuits you you really gotta mess with it).
