@HannahPerkin My full sympathies. A family member's thyroid medication is unavailable in the UK without lactose - to which they are seriously allergic (altho not anaphylaxis). They are sick every day. Major supply disruptions + UK unavailabilities of medication: another Brexit Benefit 😭🇪🇺

My ADHD meds are unavailable. AGAIN. I cannot overstate how derailing this on again, off again medication availability is. 😔

@griseldamussett I'm so very sorry to read this. She was a joy to follow on social media, and had the rare ability to lighten with laughter and kindness, challenging days experienced by others struggling with long term ill health. May her memory be a blessing.

We are so sad to announce that @griseldamussett died peacefully at home this morning with her family by her side. She was brave, funny and philosophical to the end. Thank you all for your friendship - she died knowing she was well loved.

@Richardfor7oaks I live in #7Oaks. This has to be a good thing. At the mo am doing a show at @edfringe about speeding/road safety. One video I made for it deals with this directly, if of interest, it's 👇 Going to make a documentary feature about this stuff too. Too many people die on our roads.

@dominicgrieve_ Unbelievable. ECHR was drafted by 🇬🇧 lawyers at the behest of Winston Churchill. Remains top safeguard for every citizen against totalitarian regimes. Yet TT joins others seeing the adjective 'European' & wanting to kill it, without knowing or caring about content or relevance.

Ten years ago this month that David Cameron dispensed with my services as AG. I had told him that his plans to scrap the HRA and threaten to leave the ECHR if it proved incompatible with his British Bill of Rights were unworkable and would not help solve our security or immigration challenges one bit. So it proved. When published, his plans were quickly shown to be flawed and never implemented. Ten years on, despite the repeated huffing and puffing, we still have both the HRA and the ECHR. This despite having had Suella Braverman as both Home Secretary and as a parody AG. One might have hoped that the penny would have dropped that the policy serves no useful purpose, as any minor benefit will be entirely outweighed by the downsides. We must be thankful that Rishi Sunak seems to have realised this as did the last AG Victoria Prentis. So it is depressing to see candidates for the Conservative leadership such as Tom Tugendhat return yet again to this theme. It has become a kind of ritual, without which no candidate feels they could be acceptable to the membership. And that I am afraid also shows how the Conservative Party continues to be mired in ideological fantasies that lead directly to its wipe out this year. For a Party whose members used to laugh at the inanity of Labour supporters singing the Red Flag at the end of their conferences, it is a sad reflection on where common sense has gone.

@SevenoaksLibDem 🤨. So the Conservatives STILL aren't considering the welfare of our country or its citizens. Only who gets to lead the rump party in the next months. Like repeat offenders who simply cannot be arsed about the consequences of their actions on others.
