The easiest way to get ahead is to commit to a period of skill development. 6-12 months. Pure focus for 2-4 hours a day. Learning and building. Not just binge watching tutorials, but creating quality projects that you, others, or businesses could actually benefit from. But don't just let those projects sit around. Tell the world about them. See if people care enough to pay you. Fix what doesn't work until they do. That's it. That's what most people need to completely turn their life around.

I’m 54, a physicist, have spent decades using mathematics to study the universe, solve problems, and build things. If your work touches numbers, now or in the future, and you want to learn math properly, this thread shows a from-the-ground-up math you’ll actually need:

My Uganda construction project, before & after. Happy new year! 🎊 I thought I'd make this video to show the progress we've made between now and a year ago. Easily my favourite side-project of 2025! #InvestInAfrica

Key here is picking something you can stick to forever. It makes everything else much easier.

if I had to start from 0 followers today, here's how I'd start - firstly, I would assume that no one will care about what I post for a long time that is the reality of building an audience. attention is expensive, competition is high, and early traction is rare the next thing I would do is choose a topic/niche I genuinely enjoy thinking and talking about not because it is trending, but because I would need to show up every day for months without any validation if you do not enjoy the topic when nothing is working, you will quit before the system has a chance to compound next, I would look for originality through combinations, not new ideas almost every topic is crowded, but specific intersections are not a clear angle comes from pairing a topic with a particular audience, context, or constraint. that is how you talk about something familiar in a way that feels different for example: “AI”, “fitness”, “startups”, “personal finance” are all brutally crowded trying to be another general voice there is a losing game but: - AI for non-technical founders shipping solo - fitness for desk-bound builders working 10–12 hours - personal finance for people with irregular income, not salaries that intersection is where originality lives and that’s what makes people say “this feels like it was written for me” next, I would focus on consistency over creativity - growth comes from repeatable actions, not inspiration posting daily matters, but it is not enough a large part of growth comes from finding and reaching out to relevant people, replying to them, engaging with their content, and building real relationships the goal isn’t to “go viral” - it’s to become familiar to a small group of people and serve them first, and then expand through other relevant channels so in short: - start small - stay specific - show up longer than most people are willing to that’s how I’d build again from zero

I made $4,000 in November 2025. ⚡️ mediafa.st - $3k 🍎 @theplum_us - $1k 💒 Pix Wedding - $0 🐥 Twitter - $0 + MediaFast made the maximum of all time + agency started making 💰 - second SaaS still at $0 and still not monetised on X
Arthur@arthuryuzbashew

I made $2,790 in October 2025. ⚡️ @mediafa_st - $2,710 🍎 @theplum_us - $80 💒 Pix Wedding - $0 🐥 Twitter - $0 + MediaFast is at its peak + Goal this month is to get monetized on X - Pix Wedding is 1 month old, $0 so far, but I’m betting on SEO + organic socials - Agency is being restructured, testing new niches while web dev stays active (still tough to sell)

I lost my dad at 14. This month, at 28, I financially retired my mum. At the start of this year, I announced my first major investment in Africa - MUK PLAZA, a 4-storey commercial building in the heart of Jinja City, Uganda. What started in January as unused land and an empty shell is now operational, generating revenue and creating employment in my home city. The ground floor alone generates more income than the UK average salary. The next floor is already under construction, fully funded by ground floor revenue. I had: • No real-estate experience • No construction background • A full-time role keeping me in London But after losing my dad, I had a mission to build generational stability for my family. So this year, I learned everything on the job and remotely managed a team to get the project delivered. Needless to say, we delivered. This is a deeply personal victory. Being raised by a widowed single mum, and then helping her achieve financial security after all her sacrifice feels like a generational breakthrough. I thank God 🙏🏾 I’m also proud to work at BlackRock, a firm focused on helping people achieve financial well-being. So being able to actually do that for my mum has been one of the biggest wins of my life. This year I experienced a challenge many in the African diaspora face: Balancing a career abroad while building back home is difficult. People get cheated and lose everything or just give up (I nearly did). Throughout this year, many Africans in the diaspora reached out to me wanting to do the same for themselves or their parents, but couldn’t travel frequently or didn’t know how to manage projects remotely. That's why I'm now exploring ways to help others in the diaspora do the same through Tech Safari's 'Building Back Home' fellowship. If you're in the diaspora and want to build back home or you're curious about the process I used DM me. #InvestInAfrica #BuildingBackHome

The golden age of problem-solving is officially here. In just one evening, I've built and shipped a fully working product... from idea to launch. Introducing PromptSurveys.com 🚀 A copilot for instantly generating easily-shareable research surveys from a single prompt. I built it to solve my own frustration: needing quick, sharable surveys to validate ideas fast - without the friction of Typeform or Google Forms. It’s production-ready and monetized, complete with: 💲 Stripe integration for customer subscriptions and billing ⚡ Supabase backend to store user data securely 💻 A responsive frontend that looks great on mobile and desktop (built with Lovable.dev) Check it out and let me know what you think: PromptSurveys.com p.s. It's wild how AI tools have made it possible to turn thoughts into working products overnight (literally! I thought of this idea on Sunday night) #buildinpublic

Last week, I launched a prototype to help the African diaspora send money & invest back home through tokenized real-world assets. I truly believe tokenized RWA is where the future is headed. But before we get there, we need to solve more fundamental problems first. The feedback I got made it clear: the biggest barriers today are trust and transparency (not purely technology). So I went back to the drawing board. This weekend, I built a new prototype to better address this problem - in under an hour, using AI (shoutout to Lovable). Today, I’m launching Diasprah: Your interface for doing business in Africa. Think of it as your trusted partner on the ground: your eyes, ears, hands, and insurance layer. Diasprah guarantees that when you're dealing with vendors in Africa, you work with the most reliable & get what you paid for, every time. Check it out: dev.diasprah.com Would love your feedback.
