Mets gave away 1986 replica World Series rings today for the first 15,000 fans. Great promotion. But in 2026, a giveaway is just the FIRST PITCH. What if 1 ring was real? What if 50 rings unlocked a meet-and-greet with the ’86 squad? The infrastructure to do this is coming right now. The teams that figure it out first are going to own a new revenue layer that giveaway budgets have been leaving on the table for decades.
