SEC volume limits only allow them to sell 1% of total outstanding shares every 3 months in the open market. Since they still own 28 million shares, it will take them a while to shift all of that for a full sale.

@Shrimp_a_Whales @Balastocksdude There is nothing standing in the way to sell the rest of their shares - they're no longer a board member of AST and all the main competitors in Japan went with Starlink D2C and they actually filed to sell more than HALF their stake (so have a lot more sales lines up).

@scott_m_powell I actually had this conversation with a friend, we discussed that if anyone would likely be a buyer for it, Google would be well suited given that android, pixel and samsungs, they have the capital as well which would be exciting. Don't see any other real player.

@realjoncooper How have you gotten mid feb while stating 2-4 weeks? That window is literally 12-26 Jan based of that timeframe...

That puts BB-7 squarely in the late-Jan to mid-Feb window. Given SpaceX cadence and a clean integration flow: ➡️ ~65% probability of a January launch ➡️ Higher if rideshare / no static fire ➡️ Slips only if range congestion intervenes
