@meadowman07 @tiff_tv @SkySportsF1 My friend and I are going to Spa this year, our first ever race attendance. Life long dream. Although I’m disappointed with the new regs the opportunity to visit such an iconic track and feel the atmosphere is still worth it in my opinion.

What can you say? If you understand what’s going on it was just a lot of fake overtaking. If you think Drive to Survive is real and listen to @SkySportsF1’s well paid commentators it was brilliant!!

No injuries to Tiger, whose Land Rover clipped a pressure-washing vehicle, on a small, two-lane road, or anyone else. “This could have been a lot worse,” the Sheriff said.

After the near miss 7 days ago, Matt Fitzpatrick wins the Valspar. Matt did nothing wrong last week, Cameron seized the moment. Two fine champions who have had tough times and found the strength to reach the pinnacle again. Lovely.👌

@stwater Why are there still traffic lights on the A51 at Colwich? Your work was completed before the weekend and yet they are still there causing unnecessary delays?

After rounds of 67, 68 and 68 Lee Westwood has a share of the lead at LIV Golf Singapore with Jaoco Niemann and he says a win tomorrow would probably be the best of his career: “I guess at the age of -- I'm 53 on the 24th of April, so at that stage, it would probably be the best win of my career. I get asked that question a lot, and I normally go back to the '97 Australian Open beating Greg Norman in a playoff as certainly my favorite win, and then obviously winning at Sun City with my wife carrying my golf bag, I have to then say that that's one of my favorite wins or she's clips me around the ear. “But all of my wins have special memories. But to still be competitive at my age and up there and having chances to win tournaments like this is validation for driving myself on and doing all the hard work and practice that nobody sees and still being competitive, like I say, and having a good enough game to compete against them.” He went on to talk about how comfortable he feels playing in Asia: “Yeah, I've always loved coming to Asia. I set my stall out the beginning of my career, coming to Malaysia and places like that. I went to Japan very early on in my career, 1994, for the Acom International, and then I played Visa Taiheiyos and Dunlop Phoenix and won three Visa Taiheiyos in a row and a Dunlop Phoenix back-to-back with the Visa. I won the Malaysian Open. One place I haven't won is Singapore, so it would be nice to add that to the list. I came close in 2005. Adam pipped me. “I don't have too much of an issue with the heat for some reason. It's hot, but you just deal with it, right? I'd rather play in the heat than the cold. My body seems to loosen up in these conditions, which is a bonus. “I've always enjoyed coming to Asia, and I class myself as a player that's played a world tour all my career. I never really wanted to stay in one spot. I never really wanted to play the PGA TOUR full time. I think I was a member of that tour for six or seven years but I wanted to go and play all around the world and see what the world is all about.” Lee Westwood has won 44 times around the world in more than 20 different countries. He’s looking to add to that list on Sunday in Singapore 🇸🇬 @WestwoodLee @MajesticksGC @livgolf_league

@japanauthor @Sacha_Lord Solid point but the market should decide what is ‘over-priced crap restaurants’ and not politicians.. And hospitality in Europe does not have the cost challenges that the uk scene has .. duty on booze for starters and energy for another..

@Sacha_Lord We certainly don't need any over-priced crap restaurants which is the norm. Just finished a meal in Paris: 3 people; three courses; one bottle of €65 wine plus 2 extra glasses. Cost? £100 a head.

Last night at 10.15pm I was driving Northbound on Kennington Oval Out of nowhere, a cyclist going southbound on the 2-way cycle lane, left their lane at speed, and cut across me to join the southbound traffic lane He was *SO* close to getting hit by my car. Had I not slammed by brakes on, he’d be dead or very hurt There was no way he didn’t see me. He made a conscious choice. I beeped, but he just rode on, oblivious, whilst I was left stressed, a bit scared, and frankly furious Why didn’t he realise he’d be badly hurt, not me? Why did he put his safety at such ridiculous risk instead of stopping? Why did he just presume I’d stop in time? What if I didn’t? But more importantly, how much longer do we all need to put up with this? How much longer do drivers have to put up with constant roadworks and congestion for cycle infra which isn’t even used by so many? Put up with redesigned gridlock- creating junctions to keep cyclists ‘safe’ when many don’t even seem to care about basic road rules? Put up with the ones darting through red lights, speeding on and off pavements or through crossings leaving pedestrians having to fear for their lives? Of course there are many cyclists who are decent. But too many aren’t. And ultimately those ones lead to us to reasonably ask why any of us should care about their safety when those ones just don’t seem to? When I cycle I am SO careful. Why are so many not careful at all, and presume others reactions will keep them safe? Nothing will change of course. This post will get the usual ‘but cars…’ responses (cars are identifiable) or probable accusations this didn’t even happen. Or that it is ‘hateful’. But anyone who walks or drives in a major city knows this is all true, it’s getting worse, and really can’t go on

I’ve just driven the B4020 in West Oxfordshire and asked my passenger to film (apologies not the best quality but it’s good enough to see the road) I appreciate this is a UK wide issue, not just here but I’m using my voice to speak out for everyone. This is just not acceptable.
Simon Lane@SimonCarGuy

I’ve mentioned on here a few times that I believe roads in West Oxfordshire are some of the worst in UK. Well here’s some video evidence. Every village in the area is in a similar mess. The Lib Dem’s running Oxfordshire County Council should be embarrassed. Appalling 👇1/2

@exzacklyright @SawyerMerritt I love how most of the yanks on here think they know anything about Ryanair and it’s customers.. I fly them most of the time in Europe and could not care less about wifi on board - in fact I’d rather they didn’t bother. The last thing I want is some knob face timing their mum.
