Im pretty sure that at the next NDP convention, every single person will have some kind of “equity” card, and most people will probably have several. They probably will turn it into a kind of Pokémon convention where they spend most of their time trading cards and looking for rare ones to complete sets.

@tonyrichards4 I would have had Midnights winning the Crockett as sort of an “under dog” & help establish them as champs. It sounds weird to look at the champs like that but Warriors were so over at the time, they really didn’t need it & I believe Midnights were fairly new champs.

Alright I finished up the Dennis Condrey podcast show & he's on my mind. I'm not a huge "what if" guy although I'm going to open up this rabbit hole for discussion. As I mentioned in today's Daily Chronicle, 40 Years ago in March/April of 1986, the first Crockett Cup is being promoted. The Road Warriors are the #1 seed, Magnum TV and Ron Garvin are the #2 seed and the Midnight Express, the NWA World Tag Team Champions are the #3 seed. Now it is pretty universally agreed that the Midnight Express was the best in the world & maybe best of all time. If you were the booker for JCP, would you have had them win the first Crockett Cup instead of the Warriors?
