These women have made history. After a long fight, GMB can today announce that we've thrashed out a framework agreement for settling equal pay claims in Birmingham City Council. A significant step towards pay justice. ✊

Today is #EqualPayDay. ⚖️ For the first time in more than a decade, the gender pay gap has grown - pay inequality in the UK has gotten worse. GMB women like Kim, Shirley and Mel are campaigning to end the undervaluation of women’s work.
