Big win for Philadelphia yesterday. I just think it’s so weird that beat writers and Tocchet were talking/writing about Michkov being out of shape almost every week during the season. The last few weeks? Just silence from them. Like, what are they doing here (especially writers)?

Michkov has 14 points in his last 14 games - in the biggest games of the season. Since the Olympic break, only Cates (20) has scored more points than Michkov (18). Imagine if Michkov had played on RW all season. And yet, he’s still getting only 3rd line minutes and isn’t on PP1.

It's not a fan issue - Both STR Stations are trying to hide behind fandom to avoid discussing programming choices. Why do fans *need* to engage Sports Talk Radio? No one is telling the city not to get excited, but a bunch of folks are asking where STR has been - not like being good is a prerequisite to talk about any other team in the city.

@Raiderfrank65 I’m tired of the counter argument of “it’s the same as the last 20 years, in terms of just narrowly missing playoffs, this team I feel has the pieces in place and has been playing good hockey compared to what we’ve seen in previous years, people need to enjoy it

I am NOT saying the Flyers are a contender, nor am I saying they don't still have work to do (they do). But if they can add a "good" (not necessarily a star) C, and backup G, and with Martone/Foerster coming in, this is a playoff team that is improving and still has a young core
