@arthuryuzbashew My fresh week started at 87% used on the max 20x plan. I’m calling for a refund cancelling at this stage. Codex I can go ham on and my limits barely move!

@mdwebdesigners Exactly right. AI surfaces structured, well-organized content — not just keyword-stuffed pages. Schema markup, clean headings, fast load times — these are the new ranking signals. If your traffic dropped, start with a technical audit to find what's actually broken.

@DiabloNeruda @sometherapist This is good advice. Substack indexing is hit or miss because Google sees it as UGC on a shared domain. If you want full control over indexing, own the domain and point your content there.

@sometherapist It kind of depends how you want people to find you. Google won’t index every post on Substack, so if that’s what you’re targeting, you might want to stick with Squarespace.

Migrating my blood and newsletter from Substack to Squarespace years ago was a mistake. I listened to advice from people with experience in design and SEO, but not my own knowledge of the online communities I’m involved in. Now my newsletter hasn’t grown and it goes to spam. Migrate back to Substack now? Or use another mailing list service?

@imAbagwari @jbobbink Bing's quality signals are actually more transparent than Google's. If they're telling you it's low quality, that's free intel. Fix the content depth and technical hygiene first, then resubmit.

@jbobbink if Bing is literally pointing at a URL and telling you it’s low quality, stop banging your head against the wall wondering why Google won’t index it.

Yesterday I posted about Google telling SEOs to stop force-indexing pages. The response was huge, so let me share something people forget about. Google won't tell you WHY your pages aren't indexed. But Bing and Yandex will. Google Search Console gives you "Crawled, currently not indexed" and that's it. No reason. No explanation. Just rejection. You're left guessing whether it's a quality issue, a duplicate problem, or something technical. Mueller himself said the algorithms look at "overall website quality" but GSC never tells you which pages are the problem. Bing Webmaster Tools is different. In the XML Sitemap Coverage Report, Bing has a specific "Content Quality" flag. Not "crawled not indexed." Not "excluded." Literally a label that says your URL was rejected because of content quality. It surfaces the exact URLs that Bing considers low quality. Google has never offered anything remotely close to this level of transparency. Glenn Gabe from GSQi flagged this when the report launched in 2023 and called it "pretty awesome." He was right. With so much emphasis on quality from every search engine, having a major engine explicitly flag which URLs fail the quality bar is incredibly valuable diagnostic data. Yandex Webmaster goes even further. It has a dedicated "Low-value or low-demand pages" status under Indexing, Searchable pages, Excluded pages. Yandex tells you exactly which pages were excluded and why. It even differentiates between pages excluded for being duplicates, having no content, or not matching user queries. On top of that, Yandex provides a Site Quality Index (SQI) that lets you compare your quality score directly against competitors. As an SEO consultant with 30 years in this space, here's why this matters: 1. Use Bing's Content Quality flag as a proxy for Google's indexing decisions. If Bing explicitly flags a URL as low quality, there's a strong chance Google is making the same judgment silently. Cross-reference your "Crawled, not indexed" URLs in GSC with Bing's quality flags. The overlap will tell you where to focus. 2. Yandex's low-value classification is even more granular. It separates demand issues from quality issues. A page might be perfectly written but excluded because nobody searches for it. That distinction matters for prioritizing fixes. 3. Bing's index now feeds Microsoft Copilot and AI answers. This isn't just about Bing search traffic anymore. If Bing flags your content as low quality, you're excluded from Copilot's citations too. Same logic applies to Yandex feeding its AI products. 4. These tools are free and most SEOs never log into them. 90%+ of SEO professionals are Google-obsessed and ignore the diagnostic goldmine sitting in Bing Webmaster Tools and Yandex Webmaster. The engines that will actually tell you what's wrong are the ones nobody checks. Google keeps its quality signals locked in a black box. Bing and Yandex hand you the answers. Use them. #SEO #BingWebmasterTools #Yandex #TechnicalSEO

@DavidGQuaid @edwardeachday Google indexing is genuinely broken for small sites right now. Sitemap submitted, no errors, still invisible. The bar for "worthy of indexing" keeps going up. Best lever I've found: make sure every technical signal is clean so you're not giving Google an easy reason to skip you.

@rastographer Routing through Tehran is wild. CDN + edge caching would fix the latency, but honestly the first step is knowing what's actually slow — server response vs render vs asset weight. Most people guess wrong.

Client in Dubai: "my site is slow." I checked traceroute. Packets going through Tehran. Where there's a war. I said "your data is sightseeing in a conflict zone. It'll be late." They said "can you reroute?" I said "I'm a developer, not a diplomat."

@ShawkyMesbah @360VisionX This is so true. "My site isn't working" is always code for 5 different things at once. Speed, indexing, meta, content — they're all tangled up. Having one place to untangle it fast is half the battle.

@perplexity_ai I have created my first cron job that does SEO audit of all the pages that we have updated yesterday. And, the report looks as detailed as I created with OpenClaw earlier. Now, I'm going to try this for the other use cases and see how it goes.
