@moonyenoom Gradually increase bike time - to pretty/fun places ideally. Can you take a less steep hill? Go around? Walking the bike is always an option for bad inclines.

@MeghanWhyte Pour l'instant, la durée des travaux est indéterminée, donc nous n'avons pas de date de réouverture.

@HannahRubys @reading_chemist There are so many books published even just in English every year - many hundreds of thousands. I read 150-250 books a year and there is always so much old stuff and new stuff I can't get to 😥

Dr. Toya (the reading chemist) - she/her
I genuinely don’t get the shade thrown at people who read 100+ books per year. Yes, I tend to read 250+ books a year, but this is my ONLY hobby/interest outside of work and spending time with my spouse. Also, his interest is gaming, and we prioritize those interests.

@MidniteLibrary I really enjoyed Shadow Life and Something is Killing the Children (for very different reasons) but... I Want to Eat Your Pancreas?

I'll leave with a tip: For parents in BC, I can't recommend the nurse hotline enough. Avoid going to emerg if you can by calling an RN at 811. They have helped me make the difficult decision about whether to go to hospital, and it's so comforting to be able to talk to a nurse

My family lived this nightmare when my 6-year-old daughter was rushed to hospital barely breathing last week. Now that she's out of hospital and my cortisol levels are down a bit, I can share our experience and some questions I'm asking. theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…

Military fiction with no Americans is definitely playing on hard mode! Try @BernardCornwell's Sharpe series (start with SHARPE'S TIGER), or if nautical tales count, the late C. S. Forester's Horatio Hornblower books (start with MR. MIDSHIPMAN HORNBLOWER) #ShelfServiceLive
