Black students face horrific racism in Ontario schools – a kill list of Black students, teachers saying incredibly racist things and using the n-word, the list goes on and on. @PaulCalandra @fordnation are doing absolutely nothing to address this crisis. They are making sure they silence students who might use their graduation ceremonies to raise their voices though – saying political speech “poses a real risk to student wellbeing”. Why have they never acknowledged the very real risks of anti-Black racism in Ontario schools or taken any action to address it? Absolutely shameful. Racism at all levels.
