Even for U.S. citizens, a lot of us are reconsidering our air travel. I represent LaGuardia Airport, and we’re seeing the lines come out. Of course, we have supported TSA funding, but Trump has rejected paying TSA. We’re in the middle of trying to sort that out right now. Obviously, it’s a very dangerous time, and I wish we weren’t here, but I think we are.

Growing up means abandoning the childish fantasy that sees liberty as a natural phenomenon that emerges only once the State is minimized and individuals are simply left to their own enlightened self-interest. It means finally coming to terms that liberty is only possible within strategic bounds, built on a substrate of constraints.
