@JohnNosta No need to duck. However, for full perspective, spend 8 to 15 years in training. Then practice for at least ten years. At that point, you might begin to appreciate the limits of being "competent" under the constraints of being human.

The more physicians I meet and get a solid sense of their competence, the more paranoid I get. I see this all the time—from dx to tx. The more I see of AI, the most optimistic I become. This is a divergent curve with profound implications. And yes, now I’ll duck! 🙂 #medicine

Have an idea for the next $100B company - physicians need better software for patient records. Current electronic medical records suck. If you could be the dominant EMR, you’d win. Just need a slightly better product and health systems will jump on it. Who is working on this?

@marxtango @MayoClinic @CrisJRoss I used to do this at Overlake Hospital when I was CIO/CMIO back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I called these grand rounds sessions for our physicians “Medicine in Cyberspace”. Attendance alway surpassed the usual grand roumds presentations.

Writing a book with ⁦@MayoClinic⁩ CIO ⁦@CrisJRoss⁩ and we saw this in the Clinic lobby. Perhaps the greatest privilege of my career to date. I am psyched for Grand Rounds.

@GuyDealership I think Mercedes next gen interiors are superb across most ICE and EV models. Love my GLE and AMG. However, can't say the same for their EV exterior styling, slippery but rather boring.

Mercedes interiors are very outdated compared to BMW or Audi.

@BenThePCGuy The body of your work is what defines you, not where you did it. Don't let those feelings of inadequacy overwhelm you. We know what you do, and it's amazing. So get jacked, and move on. Also, be sure to take as much time as you can to reflect on what you really want to do next.

Stop the insanity of political ads on television! Wasted millions (billions?) of dollars. Might as well light money on fire. How about diverting those $ to solving real issues; homelessness, poverty, crime, health, climate change, education, and so much more. Shameful!
