@LamarMK Mainly cuz Tesla EVs are low quality glitchy rattle traps that are a pain in the ass on long road trips. $TSLA And don’t try to defend Tesla quality. By now we all know the horror stories and are friends with former Tesla owners who won’t go back.

I still don't know why more people haven't switched to EVs yet. I made the switch from gas to a Tesla in 2023 and you could never get me to buy a gas car again. Cheap to charge at home. No maintenance except washer fluid and tire rotations. Inexpensive insurance. The savings are huge. You can literally use what you save to pay or offset your entire car payment. Once you make the switch you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. What's holding you back from going electric?

It’s the strategy. “Razor & blade” — sell hardware at thin margins to build the world’s largest autonomous AI fleet. While you’re counting car sales, Tesla committed $20B in 2026 alone to AI, autonomy & robotics. China is perfecting the 20th century game — BYD cutting prices 34%, margins collapsing, racing to sell more metal. Tesla isn’t playing that game anymore. ARK’s math: robotaxi alone = 90% of Tesla’s enterprise value by 2029. Their car business becomes a footnote. BYD wins the EV war. Tesla is building the war’s replacement. Different game entirely.

Tesla annual global car sales have plateaued at below 2% market share, with FSD adoption a fraction of that. After ten years. As the other automotive OEM’s catch-up w/their own autonomous platforms. $TSLA
