@NateSilver538 Why is wall street apes considered right leaning exactly? Also Elon was left to center his whole life, he didn't change, the left went crazy so a historically left tof center position is now considered right leaning

@VanjaPoker Facing an overbet he is never jamming the jack high flush. He would only get called by better hands and would fold out all worse hands. The nut flush is literally his only value hand in that spot. So the question is does he have bluffs. I think that answer is also no.

The Andrew Robl hand caused a lot of debate. Here is my take: Personally, I would just jam the river, not small OB. When we don’t face bluff jam and aren’t getting raised by a weaker flush, our hand mainly wants to go all-in, imo. As played, we have to think about two things: - Is Gavri jamming worse for value? - Is he find bluffs here? We are getting a decent price. He just needs to find 2-3 worse combos and we make money by calling, so folding here is pretty tough. Everyone saying “easy fold” is just not thinking about this spot enough. Versus a player type that is not finding bluffs here and likely not jamming so fast with worse, folding seems good. But again, it’s easy to say after the cards are revealed. If Gavri had a J-high flush, everyone would berate Robl. The hand basically shows how result-oriented people are. What’s your take here?

For the $TSLA bulls out there, can you please explain to me why it deserves to trade at 330x earnings? $PLTR I can understand at 226x because it is growing revenue 70% with margin expansion. Tesla has no revenue growth over the past 2 years... I'm genuinely listening here, bring your best stuff.

@Jason Except the democrats fought so hard to protect fraud that they deposed the DOGE boys as an intimidation tactic. The fraud is the point. Their whole view of government is wielding power to help their friends. No one actually cares about solving problems.

Do you feel your tax dollars go to missiles, boomers who own their homes and institutionalized fraud? Do you feel both parties are completely out of touch and captured by extremists and elites? You’re America First and might be convinced to be American Only
@jason@Jason

@TheDemocrats need to co-opt “America first, America only” and DOGE/stopping fraud They can just take those two concepts from President Trump and make their litmus test “do you put the average American’s sovereignty and well-being ahead of everything else?” Yes? Ok you’re a democrat

@twit_grim @JOBhakdi Elon doesn't think a crash is coming, he thinks the economy will 10x in 10 years. It is actually the opposite, he needs a cash infusion to turbocharge the growth.

@JOBhakdi Btw, I think that the unseemly haste of the SpaceX IPO, to me, indicates that Musk also thinks a crash is coming. I think he's thought that for about a year. He was scarred by the dotcom crash. They should have built more car factories for the unboxed process.

I don't think an AI crash is coming. Mag7 is driven by massive cash flow growth. Look at NVDA, META and AMZN. Tesla is at the verge of the greatest cash flow explosion since... NVDA (lol). SpaceX is bubbly and stretches the P/E a bit too far for my taste. It's still a good investment in the sense that it will have a decent CAGR, given its massive cash flow potential within 5-10 years, but the odds of it going below IPO price are just extremely high.
grimy@twit_grim

@JOBhakdi SpaceX is priced for the AI bubble. When that bursts it will fall with the other AI stocks. About 5 years later it will be higher than the IPO. That's if you think an AI crash is coming.

I hope you realize that none of your problems are due to billionaires. People become billionaires because they build companies that change the world for the better. You might hate the world's richest man, but he has undoubtably made the world a much better place. He is rich because other people see the things he has done and they place a high value on his companies. If people didn't want to own a share of Elon's companies he would be broke. He has very few assets outside of his ownership in Tesla and SpaceX

SpaceX just asked Wall Street to price it higher than every company on Earth except Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia. The math here is wild. They want to raise $75 billion in a single IPO. Saudi Aramco held the record at $29.4 billion in 2019. SpaceX is trying to more than double it. But the real number everyone should focus on is the jump. SpaceX merged with xAI in February at a combined $1.25 trillion valuation. Two months later, they're pitching investors at $2 trillion. That's a $750 billion markup in 60 days. No new product shipped. No new revenue disclosed. Just a filing and a roadshow. That gap reveals how Elon's team views the IPO window. They're not pricing SpaceX based on fundamentals. They're pricing it based on demand scarcity. There is exactly one SpaceX. There will never be another rocket monopoly with 10 million broadband subscribers, $24.4 billion in government contracts, and 165 orbital flights last year. The Starlink business alone is generating stable recurring telecom revenue at monopoly scale. That's the anchor. But the premium above $1 trillion is pure optionality: Starship, Golden Dome missile defense, orbital AI infrastructure. Investors are paying for futures that don't have revenue yet. And here's the part nobody's pricing correctly. The Saudi PIF is reportedly in discussions for a $5 billion anchor stake. The same sovereign fund that pushed Aramco to IPO at a $2 trillion target in 2019 and had to settle for $1.7 trillion. Now they're buying into someone else's $2 trillion IPO. The Saudis learned: if you can't build the future, buy a seat on the rocket. SpaceX is testing whether a single company can absorb more capital in one day than most countries raise in a decade. If the market cooperates, Elon's net worth approaches $500 billion and he controls two separate trillion-dollar public companies. If volatility kills the window, even the best company in the world waits. That's the only real risk here. The company is real. The question is whether June's tape cooperates.

In 2025, Rivian delivered 42,247 vehicles and reported an automotive gross loss of $432 million (core vehicle business), or about $10,225 per vehicle. Consolidated gross profit was positive $144 million thanks to software/services revenue. For 2026 ("this year"), Rivian is not expected to be profitable overall. Guidance calls for adjusted EBITDA losses of $1.8–2.1 billion, though they target positive automotive gross profit by Q4 and EBITDA breakeven in 2027, with deliveries rising to 62k–67k.
