@ShitpostRock2 Death Stranding. I don't really like playing walking simulators or games being played like movies. If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd go to a cinema.

@Tanukichi_mingo Rain is common in Great Britain. I imagine he's used to it. Not sure about umbrellas being gay though, I've seen so many people of the two sexes use them. Though I'm not one of them, mainly because I find umbrellas cumbersome to carry and I don't go out often.

@LOTR_Daily_ I honestly liked both movie franchises. They have their own distinct styles of storytelling that I appreciate.

@magozone23 Anime should stay Japanese in make and style. Don't try to pander to an overseas crowd. Otherwise, it just loses its distinct flavor.

@ChibiReviews That's when they lost me: when Netflix was mentioned. We all know this is going to be heavily propagandized by Netflix. I have little hopes this will go well.

Japan's Keio University is being sponsored by Netflix to do "Anime Peace Studies" According to the university’s press release, the purpose of the course is to analyze the social value anime has as a means of cultural expression, and academically review its relationship with peace in a broader sense (mutual understanding, empathy, coexistence).

@Critical_Scribe Yeah that's fine. If you like it, that's good :) He treated David Hayter dirty. He was always trying to replace him with a Hollywood actor for Solid Snake. Hayter always had to audition to get his role back. I felt bad for him. Especially when he was not Venom Snake in MGS5.

@Morindacil As far as the game content goes I like the weirdness. It feels distinct. If it comes at the cost of being harsh to employees though, not about it.

This is why you should be following the writers and game directors of all these games more often. For some reason we do this with Japan pretty frequently, but not so much the West.

@Critical_Scribe I think it's for the best. As Kojima... well he doesn't really have a good reputation in Japan. I've seen his antics with how he treated his people while making the Metal Gear games. And Death Stranding is too weird at times.

Bloodborne R-rated animated movie announced by Sony, with Jacksepticeye producing. Bloodborne is officially getting an R-rated animated movie adaptation from Sony, and the film is said to stay “very true” to the game’s gory spirit. The project is being co-produced by PlayStation Productions, Lyrical Animation, and creator/gamer Seán McLoughlin (Jacksepticeye). Via Variety.

@Critical_Scribe Yeah. There is one I can think of: Amy Hennig. She's one of the people that helped write the Legacy of Kain series. But she's not as much in the spotlight nowadays I think.

@hanaamurakami Your government needs to give you guys better incentives to reproduce. Like less work hours, better pay, more time to allow families to spend more time together, making the work more efficient with less time spent, empowering the people, etc.

@klepka07 Not me as I still live with my mother. But I heard my brother's friend was kicked out of the house when he turned 18. It was some decades ago in Canada. I think he's doing fine for himself.
