I said this yesterday... This is a sad day. Not only because Trump got shot, which is disgusting behavior for a disagreement in politics, but that in their anger for Trump, they cared not for fellow humans in the crowd, which ended lives. If you truly are American, you can only condemn this action. My sincerest condolences to the victims of someone else's hate that ended your life. In no common sense is this ok!!

He has a family, it’s ok to disagree w/ someone on policy & not want them to hold office, but to literally want someone to be killed. You need to seek mental help. A precious father died at this rally. It was senseless & life matters. Seek help if you really believe this. #Trump

.@DadePhelan protects the Democrats in Austin and they protect him in the district. If I had to rely on Democrats to win a Republican Primary, I wouldn’t run. Having to count on Democrats to win a Republican Primary is selling out the GOP, just like he does in Austin every day. Dade won the Runoff by 366 votes out of 25,260 votes cast, with over 1,400 Democrats voting for him. Dade's actions cost 15 Republican incumbents their reelection. He threw them under the bus, but he still wants to drive. That’s not real leadership. That’s a debacle! #txlege
