@JOBhakdi If you followed Trump as long as I have, you would know this has always been his behavior. I don't look at his words over the last 20 years. I look at his actions over the last 40 years.

The funniest argument I hear is "Jo, you think you are smarter than the White House? Jo, you think you have more information than the White House?" FYI, I am German. I didn't have more information than Wilhelm in 1914. I didn't have more information than the OKW in 1941. I still would have been vastly more right, because ..,. it wasn't that hard. The White House had "more information" before Vietnam; before Kosovo; before Iraq; before Afghanistan; before Libya. That's exactly why everyone thinks what is happening is unhinged and dumb. We cut Trump some slack previously exactly BECAUSE he claimed to be different. Now that he looks like the others, the DEFAULT assumption should be that these actions are informed by stupidity, corruption and incompetence, because anything else would be a real pattern breaker.
