WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH HORMUZ?! - Trump says the US has very good conversations going on with Iran and expects more news by end of day. Iran just slammed the Strait of Hormuz shut again after briefly opening it. Tehran claims the US failed to lift its naval blockade so strict controls are back and they fired on a tanker. Trump fires back: "Iran got a little cute. They wanted to close up the strait again. They can't blackmail us." Blockade stays in place. He adds the US will recover all nuclear material from Iran 100 percent after any deal. Talks continue. Oil markets on edge. #Iran #StraitOfHormuz

I probably need to sign off for the day. I am disgusted beyond belief at the people who suddenly are acting pious for political reasons when they have forever vocally supported: 1. Murdering unborn children by the bushel. 2. Nuns being persecuted for adhering to the doctrines of the Catholic Church. 3. The mutilation of confused children to satisfy their parents’ Munchausen Syndrome. 4. The beatification of Barack Obama, Anthony Fauci and Robert Mueller as holy figures throughout the media. 5. Harsh criticism of any Trump Administration official who favorably mentions God or Jesus. 6. The ending of religious assembly during COVID. 7. A generalized disdain for orthodox Christian and Catholic persons and beliefs. 8. Hatred for the most orthodox, intellectual and Catholic of recent Popes, Pope Benedict. 9. Embrace of all manner of perversions enumerated specifically in the Bible as sins. 10. Silence on the murder of 30,000+ Persians by the Iranian mullahs and the violent murder and persecution of Christians in large swathes of the Muslim world. Pope Leo is using the Gospel as an excuse to meddle in purely political affairs, and politicians throughout America who hate the Gospel are using feigned faith as a political cudgel. It is disgusting beyond belief. OUT.

I honestly don't care if he ends up sleeping in a box under the 10th street bridge. What I am upset about is that those who new he was engaging in this conduct enabled him to keep doing it by staying silent. How many women were assaulted after his behavior become an open secret?

In one week, Eric Swalwell was forced to drop out of the California race, put under criminal investigation in New York, and is the subject of a bipartisan expulsion effort. He was even kicked out of the home of a billionaire who was letting him crash. However, that is not all...

We didn't have any kids in the family to be flower girls and three weeks before the wedding I realized I didn't care anymore. I'd spent six months pretending this wedding was about me when really it was about proving something to my mother who still introduces me as her daughter who "finally found someone." I'm 41 years old and I got engaged because I was tired of being the single one at every family gathering, tired of the looks, and now here I was planning a wedding that felt like an apology for taking too long. My fiancé's grandmother called me crying two weeks before because she thought she wasn't included enough in the planning. She's 91 and she kept saying she just wanted to feel useful, that everyone treats her like she's already gone. My own grandmother is 89 and barely leaves her house anymore because my aunt convinced her she's too fragile for everything. I sat in my car in the grocery store parking lot listening to his grandma cry and something just broke open in my chest. These women raised entire families through wars and depressions and we've shoved them into corners like decorative plants. I called them both that night and asked if they'd be our flower girls. Not as a cute joke but because I genuinely wanted them walking down that aisle first, leading the whole thing. There was this long silence and then his grandma said "I'll do it but I need a dress that makes me look alive." We spent the next week finding someone on Tedooo app who does custom formal wear for older women, someone who actually understood how to make them feel beautiful instead of just "appropriate for their age." The seamstress sent photos of fabric options and kept asking what would make them happy, not what would photograph well. My grandmother wanted lavender embroidered on hers because that's what she carried at her own wedding 67 years ago, so I found this incredible embroidery artist on Tedooo app who added it to the shoulders and hem, delicate purple flowers that you could only see up close. The dresses arrived four days before the wedding and both grandmas came over to try them on in my living room. They stood in front of my mirror in these gorgeous gray gowns with flower details and I watched them see themselves, really see themselves, maybe for the first time in years. The wedding day they walked down that brick path throwing petals with these huge smiles and my mother told me afterward it was "unconventional." I told her that was the point. When we got home my grandma said it was the best day of her life and I said me too. For once I meant it. This wedding stopped being about proving anything and became about honoring the women who actually showed me what love looks like when nobody's watching. That's worth more than any perfect ceremony. Secretary Marco Rubio
Secretary Marco Rubio@SecRubio·
Masoumeh Ebtekar - also known as "Screaming Mary" - was the spokeswoman for the Islamic terrorists who stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979 and held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days - subjecting them to beatings, starvation, and mock executions. In 2014, the Obama Administration granted visas to her son and his family to enter the United States. In June 2016, the Obama Administration gave them lawful permanent resident status via the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program. This week, I terminated their lawful permanent resident status and today, Seyed Eissa Hashemi, Maryam Tahmasebi, and their son are now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement pending their removal from our country. Her family should never have been allowed to benefit from the extraordinary privilege of living in our country. America can never become home for anti-American terrorists or their families - and under the Trump Administration, it never will.

I don’t have to list all of Trump’s accomplishments, and there are many. I am going to just list one. The one every single one of the podcasters talked about ad nauseam during the last administration. The border. The border which is now sealed. The one that doesn’t have 100,000 plus crossings a month. Have you heard them talk about that? Nope. That alone makes his presidency a success.

My biggest pet peeve: What time is dinner, Christy? Me: 6pm. Inlaws: Ok Me: See ya then. (Knowing they won't be here on time.) Currently 6:45. Kids:" I hate when they dont value our time. It's like this every holiday."(Last time they showed up 2 and a half hours late) Me: "They work a farm. Sometimes, it's like that." In my head: It's still rude. They can never be on time even when they don't have chickens. But holding my tongue. Biggest pet peeve. Never on time.

The executive branch can kidnap a head of state, extract downed pilots via building airstrips under fire, and send men to the moon, all within four months. The legislature hasn't passed a regular budget in 15 years and the judiciary is arguing over whether citizenship exists.
