🏗️We joined @nycschools to break ground on the new Boys and Girls High School Athletic Field!🚧Managed by the Division of School Facilities, the project will have a new turf field, running track, upgraded drainage systems & enhanced field event areas from long jump to shot put.

🏫 The project, which will be managed by the Division of School Facilities will also include new electrical and lighting systems, a digital scoreboard, upgraded drainage, new bleachers, plus improved locker rooms and equipment for multiple sports. (2/2)

🏗️ We joined @NYCSchools to break ground on the new Jamaica Educational Campus Athletic Field! 💰 @QnsBPRichards helped secure $7.7M in mayoral funding to bring a state-of-the-art turf field with a running track. Since 2025, the SCA invested over $4.5M at the Campus. (1/2)

We're celebrating International Sculpture Day, with “Vapor Trails” by Gwen Lux at Aviation Career & Technical Education H.S.! ✈️ The stainless steel sculpture completed in '58 adorns the main entrance facade with its abstracted metal forms and dynamic cast shadows.

I recently met with the SCA and look forward to touring the facility once a Certificate of Occupancy is issued. This project is an important step toward relieving overcrowding in nearby schools.

This morning, I met with Principal Witherspoon of @MS379CPC to discuss the future of the former St. Agnes High School site and the development of the new high school planned for College Point.
