@NephroICUDoc @NDTsocial Finerenoning whenever possible but if cardiac indication is stronger and not much proteinuria then leaving them on Spiro/Eplerenone for now.

Good read and some interesting observations. May need more trials to prove CV benefits but interesting to note superiority to Eplerenone/Spironolactone in terms of renal outcome. @NDTsocial

@NephroICUDoc @NDTsocial Interesting Steve. In Fine-Heart Trial , Finerenone was not associated with significant reduction in cardiovascular mortality. That’s probably the reason most still prefer Spiro/Eplerenone in heart failure patients.
