Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed. 🕓Disruption is expected until 09:00 18/03. ℹ️You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services in both directions - · Alternative TransPennine Express services between Manchester stations and Preston. · Northern services between Manchester stations and Preston. Rail replacement transport has been requested to run between Manchester Airport and Preston in both directions. Please see station staff for further information.

✅ We’ve completed a major £7.9m track renewal outside Manchester Piccadilly! 🚧 Between 14-22 February, the train shed was closed as we overhauled tracks, signalling, and lineside equipment just outside the station. 👏 Thank you for your patience while we completed this work!
