There are numerous rumors circulating on Social Media that are alarming, none of which have been confirmed at this time. NFPD alongside partnering agencies are working to verify or debunk rumors. If there are any confirmed facts, we will notify citizens via our social media pages

Please know there is always help available if you, a family member, or friend is in a domestic violence situation. The Niagara Falls Police Department will always respond if you are in need during an emergency. You are not alone, and help is available to you.

Chief Licata joined Niagara County DA Caroline Wojtaszek yesterday in the announcement of the filing of multiple charges against two men accused of engaging in a robbery that resulted in the death of Ahmad "Poppy" Alsaid, owner of the Bridgeway Market on Thanksgiving eve.
