@Jsaking11 Anyways, here are some good-looking new animated films both for young and older audiences that are either from smaller studios with good track records or new, rising star directors. The last one is from the studio behind Wolfwalkers!

@Jsaking11 putting out more that either hasn’t been done before or at least looks like a treat. Stagnant companies like WDA just don’t cut it in a world where just a year ago the new biggest animated film was not only good, but arguably the best film on the Top 50 highest-grossing list.

Can people please stop being so negative about Hexed? The movie looks like a ton of fun and it’s annoying to see people blindly criticize it. And no, it is not a rip off of the owl house. Those tropes existed well before this and Hexed was in development before Owl House.

haven’t even seen disclosure day but all it needs to be is like a pretty good/10 and it’s winning. i see a mixed reception to it but many people i know are giving it 8s and 9s so hopefully i’ll agree with the truthers.

@dialecticalsaba ig it helps that it’s a trans movie on netflix with song sequences that isn’t emilia perez so it immediately has some favorable comparisons. it never feels like it needs to be sad for the sake of being “realistic” and indulges in the taboo subject of trans people being happy.
