There is no roster limit after trade deadline. They can carry as many players as they want as long as they are cap compliant. All they have to do is switch him from emergency recall to regular recall.

@TianoDom27109 Dom, what would they have to do to keep him on the roster after that? Put someone on waivers?

Lukas Reichel has played 6 games for the #NHLBruins. He can play 3 more as an emergency recall.

@CurtisPashelka Everyone can see he’s exhausted from the endless double shifts and multiple lines Warso keeps forcing. It doesn’t help the player or the team by doing this. With playoffs out of reach, his TOI should return to normal and team focus should be consistent lines to build for next yr.

@Sheng_Peng Warso double shifting Celebrini and constantly changing his linemates is not helping at all. The kid is clearly exhausted and running him into the ground when you’re out of a playoff spot is only making the team and the situation worse. Time to reset and focus on next year.

@IvanIvanlvan I would like to see him on a line with Poitras instead of Brown.

I do think there was not enough higher end playmaking for him to finish on and to try and facilitate. If that keeps going the next few games I wonder what the next steps are.

Hagens was good tonight. The start was obviously underwhelming but that was expected as he was in a ‘feel out’ mode stepping into the AHL for the first time. Showed good speed but was also closed on a bit as well. The third period is where he turned it up. Some tremendous moments with the puck especially on the power play. Also wasn’t pushed around as much later in the game here, he even started to throw his body around too.

@ConorRyan_93 Would like to see him play more with Poitras. The couple shifts they ended up together looked good. Feel Hagens needs to be with someone that’s more of a playmaker like Poitras than Brown.

The Providence Bruins beat Springfield, 2-1, in James Hagens' pro debut. Hagens landed three shots on goal, but didn't record a point. Seemed like he got more comfortable as the game went on — was smooth in transition, even won a few faceoffs in the offensive zone.
