I confusion about the timeline, thought the devs didn’t know up until basically the public announcement but then they have this all prepped? 🤔

Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2’s final update, launching on June 9, will be more than just the end of new content. The game’s lead developer said the update includes story content and a proper farewell for players, stating, “Yes, there’s story, yes, we get to say goodbye.” The update, called Monument of Triumph, was announced on May 21 as the last new live-service release for Destiny 2 after 12 years of support. After that, the game will move into maintenance mode but remain fully playable.

Destiny 2 is officially coming to an end. Say what u will about Destiny but I still think their raid content is unmatched in the looter shooter space. The question now is with Destiny soon out of the picture which looter shooter will take up the crown?

Biggest issue is pc players have a greater movement advantage than controllers. It should have a console-only version. Yeah, you can take cross-play off, but you still can’t play with your PS5 friends. Lastly , it’s impossible to farm with rats! A PVE mode strictly for arc or farm, no PvP, will do wonders!

Spending hours everyday on video games is for losers. Get out of the house and explore a bit, meet new people, play a sport. Or stay in and do something that sharpens you: read, write, sketch, create.

Had a chance to be generational. Minecraft, fortnite, wow, lol, dota…. Dropped the ball so bad by not balancing weapons, not fixing skill tree perks that dont work, no new skill tree perks, trash updates, recycled quests/expedition, no new guns. Generational FUMBLE.

Idk about soulless. I’m only a few hours in but I’m feeling the opposite.
I wish this shit was MORE AAA soulless, why can I pick up every coin and candle on the ground you know how hard it is to get the one thing I actually do want to hover over correctly.

Dude that’s the thing all of the “group content” is mechanically very simple but the objective is just convoluted enough so you gotta look it up and then it will have some kind of step like “shoot three orbs simultaneously” so you can feel superior after doing it with your friends. It’s lame. Or the bullet sponge boss so you can’t have enough dps without a full squad. Forget that mess

I’m not sure if it’s possible but if Destiny 2’s population problems don’t improve then Bungie really should consider making everything in the game free except Eververse. Not saying that will save the game but damn we need more people on this game. People can’t even raid ffs
