Combining the speed of a running back with rare strength, Rod Shoate was a dominant force at Oklahoma in the early 1970s. A two-time All-American, he helped lead @OU_Football to a perfect 11-0 National Championship season in 1974 and never finished ranked lower than No. 3 during his career.
