While I know that’s not possible, I am able to share my own evolution, regrets and mistakes - past and ongoing- with the hope of keeping this conversation alive for real change. 6/6

Instead, I hope that others can learn from my shortcomings and realize that change is ongoing and possible. I wish all of my athletes could’ve been led by the coach I was the last 10 years of my career. 5/6

For long-term change to take place, I believe tough conversations are required. I have made many mistakes in my coaching career and regret the times that I was bullish, sarcastic and mean. I acknowledge that behavior and, over the course of many years, have had one on one 1/6
