@H2GreenSteel @kajsakak Kajsa @H2GreenSteel continues with the need for level playing field for #renewablehydrogen in #EUETS. Electrolyzers are now included in ETS but before the phase-out of free allocation the rules needs to change so that green hydrogen gets the same free allocation as fossil based.

At the Renewable Hydrogen Summit #RHS2023 Kajsa R-Wallberg @H2GreenSteel continues stating that 🇪🇺 has something 🇺🇸 doesn’t - a carbon pricing mechanism. With #EUETS renewable hydrogen & its derivatives eg #greensteel can become more competitive compared to the fossil-based.

Kajsa Ryttberg-Wallgren, EVP Growth & Hydrogen @H2GreenSteel explains the difference in support for REH2 in 🇺🇸 and 🇪🇺. With #USIRA tax credits all projects can get 3$/kg REH2. In EU the Hydrogen bank, that is great step, can only support a few projects likely with a lower figure.
