@seanonolennon @BobMurphyEcon @XTwitmoDetainee @JulianLennon They were protesting the patriarchy & the system yet politely watched a underclass servant change their bed. If you don’t get the irony, then you don’t understand irony.

@XTwitmoDetainee @JulianLennon There is zero irony in letting a maid do her job. Thinking otherwise is a very goofy take. They were not protesting maid service.

The "Very Fine People" Hoax just got a major plot twist.
It turns out the Unite the Right group that was involved in Charlottesville was a LEFT-WING FUNDED FRONT GROUP.
So, this was a HOAX upon a HOAX upon a HOAX.
An Unholy Trinity of Hoaxes.
The Justice Dept. has just indicted the SPLC and found that it purportedly funded Unite the Right, assisted with messaging and coordination, and even provided transportation.
This is aiding-and-abetting. Literally, a "criminal conspiracy," if proven true in a court of law.
Here are the hoaxes the Democratic Party weaponized in order to fuel riots, smear its opposition, and racially divide Americans:
1. Trump did not call the white supremacists and extremists the SPLC funded "very fine people." Yet the DNC-propaganda media pushed this blatant lie.
2. The Unite the Right front group was funded by the same SPLC that was providing the Democrats with "anti-hate" talking points. They were staging the "right-wing hate," spreading propaganda about it, and coordinating with Democrats on how to "fight" the imaginary racist hate.
3. Joe Biden claimed he "ran for president" because of the "Very Fine People" Hoax. The SPLC was behind this hoax. Was this a coincidence or a DNC-masterminded plot?
This is as damning as it gets in American politics.
How in the world can someone support a Democratic Party that would go to such evil lengths to falsely smear its political opposition?

A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27:
“It’s a strange thing knowing you’re going to die young.
At 26, I thought I had time…
To fall in love.
Start a family.
Grow old.
But cancer doesn’t care about plans.
Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee.
I’m not writing this to scare you. I’m writing to remind you: really live.
Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day you’ll wish you had appreciated it.
Go outside.
Look at the sky.
Feel the sun.
Just be.
Spend less time chasing “stuff” - more time making memories. Don’t skip moments with people you love.
Laugh more.
Write a note.
Tell someone you love them.
Complain less.
Give more.
Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy.
Be present.
Put your phone down.
Show up - really show up.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect body, or a perfect life.
Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to.
And please - donate blood. I wouldn’t have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories I’ll hold close… forever.
Thank you for reading this.
Live your life well.
And maybe… we’ll meet again someday.”

Another day, another mind blowing example of how Canada’s criminal justice system is a shambles.
This guy tried to kill several Canadian soldiers, clearly motivated by religious extremism.
He is still assessed as posing “a significant threat to the safety of the public.”
But the Ontario Review Board (ORB) has him living in the community, with his schizophrenic mother.
And now they have given him a three week pass to travel to Saudi Arabia and Somalia.
What could possibly go wrong?
As a rule, quasi-judicial tribunals like the ORB are supposed to operate independently of the elected government.
But there’s a reason why ORB officials are appointed by the elected provincial Cabinet: to ensure ultimate democratic accountability.
In Canada, it’s what we call responsible government.
IMO, this ORB decision so egregiously violates the public interest, an example should be made. Every member of the panel responsible for this decision should be fired and replaced by people who understand that their primary duty is to protect public safety.
And the Ontario PC government, which has appointed ORB members for nearly a decade, should do a serious review of how these members got appointed in the first place.

In 1998, a 13-year-old girl was abducted and raped at knifepoint in Alicante, Spain. The rapist, 63-year old Antonio Cosme, was sentenced to 9 years in jail.
7 years later, in 2005, the victim's mother, María del Carmen García, was waiting at a bus stop when she saw a man approaching.
"How's your daughter doing?" the man asked with a smirk on his face.
It was her daughter's rapist.
Antonio was out on day release.
Enraged by what had just happened, Maria ran to the nearest store, purchased 1.5 litres of gasoline, and walked into the bar that Antonio had just entered.
She doused him head-to-toe with gasoline, lit him up, and stood back and calmly watched as her daughter's rapist burned alive in front of her eyes.
Maria was sentenced to 9.5 years in jail for her act of revenge, but was released in 2018 after serving 5.5 years.
Today, she lives freely in Spain after being reunited with her daughter.

1% of the male population of Newfoundland was killed in the Great War.
Memorial University was given its name to be a living, permanent memorial to their sacrifice.
None of those men, or those who served with them, would now be eligible to teach at the university named in honour of their sacrifice.
DEI has gone too far for too long.
(BTW, I wonder if the same discriminatory hiring practices apply to janitorial, food services, and facility maintenance jobs. Or does the unjust treatment only apply to "elite" tenure track positions?)
Chris Brunet@chrisbrunet
This week the only university in Newfoundland, @MemorialU, posted 5 tenured professor openings: - AI-driven Navigation - Computational Biochemistry - Genomic Mapping - Indigenous Knowledge - Community Health and Substance Use Each job stipulates that no white men may apply.

Brilliant TV moment: Muslim guests on Piers Morgan's show go crazy and start shouting to stop Douglas Murray from destroying the false narrative about the war in the Middle East.
Here are the facts:
1. Hamas is an Islamic terrorist organization. Hamas is also the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
2. A terrorist organization is not a reliable source of information.
3. The same Hamas terrorists who initiated the ongoing war on October 7th, 2023, provide the media and the UN with fake data and disinformation about the war in Gaza.
4. Israel has no interest in harming innocent civilians. On the other hand, all Hamas does is target innocent civilians in Israel while using the civilians of Gaza as human shields.
5. Hamas can end the ongoing war in Gaza by releasing all the Israeli hostages and laying down their weapons!

Here’s Mark Carney’s illusion: he wants to keep Canadians in a state of fear and panic to distract from all of his costly failures at home.
The Carney Liberals have given us the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7. He has not repealed a single anti-development law, approved a single pipeline, and housing construction is actually falling.
To top it all off, he’s doubled the deficit Justin Trudeau left behind.
These are all Liberal-made problems that Carney made worse.
And as for the U.S., Mark Carney’s talk of a rupture with the customer that buys two-thirds of our goods is not a plan. He has not negotiated a single new Free Trade Agreement with any country on earth.
The meetings, photo ops, and non-binding memoranda are all an illusion.
Mark Carney’s agenda is about enriching a small group of well-connected Liberal elites like him, who get corporate handouts of tax dollars and use tax havens to avoid paying the same bills they are charging you.
If we want to be affordable at home, safe at home, and strong at home we must make real change at home.
That’s why Conservatives are fighting for an end to wasteful Liberal spending. Let us cut corporate welfare, consultants, foreign aid, and handouts to fake refugees.
Unblock our resources.
Unleash our entrepreneurs.
Approve pipelines and major projects today.
Incentivize municipalities to build homes.
Cut the gas taxes on farmers, truckers, and steelmakers.
Stop the money-printing and inflationary deficits that drive up the cost of everything.
That’s the only way we will be strong at home and unbreakable abroad.

Ok, approve a pipeline to the west or east coast without ties to carbon capture. This is the surest and most obvious way to diversify away from the US. Talk is cheap.
