Oh! Seems like basic journalism has missed a step, missed a beat, globally.
Ours, of course, is stumbling and tumbling on a daily basis.
Btw, this isn't just about a typo or getting an acronym wrong. It's a bigger editorial blunder. It's about framing a story all wrong.
Dear American people,
What have you done to yourselves? Does a statement like this truly sit well with you? When rhetoric around Iran and the Strait of Hormuz slips into spectacle, it reflects not strength, but a quiet abdication of responsibility. Politics, at its finest, is a moral conversation; anchored in restraint, reason, and accountability. Reduced to performance, it becomes mere noise: loud, reckless, and unanswerable.
The question, then, is not about one individual. It is about what a democracy, in its collective wisdom, chooses to accept and eventually, to normalize. We, too, are not sailing in a different boat.
Jai Hind.
@ianmiles Accounts spreading Fakes news are back like never before. USRAEL terrorists hv bombed key infrastructure in Iran bt by th grace of God Iran is still standing strong so usrael terrorist supporters like u hv shifted to propaganda
@RepJayapal Money well spent. The demoncrat plan to catch and release didn’t work, the republicant can’t just deport them, so they have to be housed somewhere until a hearing. You act like this is the only money available for those programs. GOVERNMENT IS BROKEN
ICE announced they’re going to spend more than $38 billion to detain thousands of more people.
With that amount of money, we could end homelessness, extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies, or provide school lunches to every kid in America.
This is totally unacceptable.
🚨 BREAKING: Even after the Super Bowl LX halftime show ended, Bad Bunny’s performers kept the party going outside Levi’s Stadium — fans and dancers continued celebrating the music, energy, and culture beyond the official broadcast.
Without a doubt, the best Halftime Show I’ve ever seen. A true celebration of an American culture that few of us ever witness. I didn’t understand much of what they were saying, but I didn’t need to. They said it all without having to sing a word.
It was intimate, rather than a spectacle; handheld cameras in the middle of people who were happy and joyful. Color and excitement everywhere. No sweeping stadium shots or reliance on shock and awe. Just us, you and me, in the middle of a party that we didn’t deserve to be invited to, but were anyway.
Hospitality. True welcome.
A reminder to the world that our nation *IS* more than white dudes wrapped in business suits, confederate flags, and Bible drag… we are much more. At least, we SHOULD be more than that… and the better part of us is.
@thedigitalguyty@BussinWTB I agree. We should be unified as a nation. We should all be team Jesus and USA 🇺🇸. I love my country just as much as you. But also understand that we are a nation with many different backgrounds from around the world. There’s nothing wrong with being proud of your home land 🇵🇷
