🚨 ALLEN SET TO HEADLINE QUEENSBERRY SHOW 👀 Eddie Hearn has revealed that Dave Allen will headline a Queensberry show against a ‘top 15’ heavyweight with an announcement possibly next week… 🇬🇧 A location is yet to be decided with the date expected to be sometime in May.

@BoxingMediaUk1 If Zhang is the fight… -Allen gets a big fight & a payday -Queensberry get their guy a high-profile comeback win -It’ll sell out an arena in the UK Good business. If Allen somehow wins then it’ll be a massive upset & then get another big fight, it’s a risk he’s willing to take.

@GlingK03 He won’t be announcing the show. He was asked what was next for Allen and he said Queensberry will be the lead promoter of his next fight. Allen is still contracted to Matchroom.

@OutBoxing_ Hmm I thought it was a typo - why would Eddie Hearn announce a Queensbury show? Also Dave Allen is loyal to Hearn and matchroom?

@DaveF1975 @MarekSolarski1 Matchroom would have headlined him on DAZN later in the year anyway. Queensberry see Allen as a big name and an opponent for one of their guys so they’ve paid up. If Matchroom & Allen were happy with the opponent/deal there’s no reason why they shouldn’t take it.
