You'd see Thing is, you people want houses like this in Lagos and Abuja and its almost impossible Real estate is extremely expensive in these 2 cities because almost everyone wants to go to these 2 cities and its basic economics for real estate to react to that demand Do you know how much land you will have to buy in Lagos or Abuja to achieve this type of living? The houses in Lagos and Abuja that are built like this are very expensive. Its a normal thing with big cities. The demand for real estate drives up price. Its just like going to NY City or Central London and you start looking for farm houses there or start looking for a big lawn in New York city. I mean you will hardly see greenery or trees there. Because, every piece of land is needed to accommodate humans That is where the idea of "country homes" came from. On the country side, land is cheaper and very available. You can use 30 acres for your house. Nobody cares We used to have compounds like these in Nigeria 30 years ago because our population and demand for housing is not the same today
