Something weird happened in the last 7 months. I stopped caring that I was different in my approaches and stopped over agonising decisions. I am calm, focused and confident. Is this what middle age is? Just giving a lot less ducks about everything?

Really solid interview. If you’re interested in: - the damage cellphones do to children - problems with social media before 16 - development of the broken mindset that social justice makes being terrible to others OK - how we ended up with damaged folks who think words are violence - the fall of higher education - the oppressor/oppressed mindset and how it changes behaviors - how coddling has led to depressed, anxious and poor outcomes Especially interesting to parents, worth a watch. There’s *a lot* of though provoking stuff in here. Nice work @Jason and @friedberg 👏

@petegoo Don't get me wrong, repealing the legislation is blatant pandering to Winston/NZ First so they can say "look we did a thing" for their voters and lobbyists, but man oh man the benefits undone by this is much smaller than the harm from not doing something about vapes 2/2

@petegoo 600 puffs = 20 pack cigarettes. AFAIK the health impact of vaping is still unknown so hard to say vaping = better than cigarettes, but 100% new smokers introduced via vaping is going to be much MUCH higher than smokers prevented by this legislation. It's a pipeline problem 1/2

Why are we so up in arms about the repeal of the ban on smoking for those born after '08 when vaping is rife in our schools and colleges? A disposable vape equivalent to 6 packs of cigarettes can be purchased for just $25?! Play where the ball is going, not where it's been!

@dylanbland +1 F1TV. $99 for the year for live, replays and highlights. App doesn't give the results away when you go in to watch it delayed. It's a bit glitchy with casting, and you get the F1TV build up and post shows, but you can still get the Sky F1 commentary (@CroftyF1 etc) for race.

I don’t know how to watch F1 anymore from NZ. I have a Sky Sport subscription but when I go into the App to watch the Sprint Shootout it shows me tennis and netball. Help
