@TedStarkey @finkdontstink I cut Patrick a little bit of slack since the market has been so thin and if people are asking for Protas, Leonard, or Hutson that’s a no go. Although in retrospect, if we held on to Carlson and Dowd I don’t think we’re having this discussion.

@TedStarkey @BeanieJedi33 Managing ice time and playing time is not a strength. Last year when they were cruising they sat AA and McIlrath the whole season, only to have to put them in cold during the playoffs. This year, they were basically a three line team for half the season.

Actually, it’s obvious to everyone that he ditched his speech at the last minute. This story was based on “six people familiar with the planning,” and I am sure none of them actually read the President’s speech before it was delivered. Politico did not even reach out to the White House for comment. Another example of why you should not blindly trust what you read from the legacy media. This is what they do - call up random sources who just make things up, and then they report it as fact.
