The President is currently invoking the war powers act to allow him to protect the US by striking Iran. That would be his defense.

@SamWitwer I’m not defensive. Im simply stating that breaking the law isn’t the way forward. It won’t end well for anyone involved. The shooting today was unjustified and the officer involved needs charged, but we need to turn the temperature down before this boils over.
