A friend of mine told me his landlord was giving him serious issues. At first, I didn't believe him. But when he told me he was already considering leaving a house he has lived in for less than four months, I knew things must have gotten really bad. It all started when the landlord complained that his Tv volume was too loud. My friend is a very calm and respectful person, so he reduced the volume. However, he noticed that even after turning the Tv down to the lowest reasonable level, the landlord would still come the next day to complain that it was too loud. The situation kept getting worse & became very stressful. Then the landlord informed him that he wanted him to switch off his Tv & all his lights by 9pm every day, or 10pm at the latest. According to him, he didn't like the idea of other tenants being without electricity while my friend was enjoying power from his inverter, watching Tv, & alleg£dly disturbing people's sleep. Interestingly, all these issues started shortly after my friend installed an inverter. Now he's frustrated & doesn't know what to do. This is a two-bedroom apartment for which he paid a total package of ₦4.5 million in lagos mainland, & he's already thinking about moving out after less than four months. What advice would you give him?
