@999SHILL @PavlovicNBCS he’s been pretty awful with selection/timing as well. these are all the pitches he’s challenged.
as you can see some of them are very clear misses to an untrained eye
either he’s trowing or he doesn’t know the zone quite like people believe and only is a framer.

susac has 11 hits in 26 at bats.
bailey has 12 in 82 at bats.
bailey is 15 for 28 in abs which is 54% and not very good in comparison

The Patrick Bailey trade is official. The Giants move on from a 26-year-old who is the only catcher in franchise history with two Gold Glove Awards and had some insane late-game hits, but also had a wRC+ of 72 over four seasons. Bailey was also about to hit arbitration.

Pretty telling Patrick Bailey saw the writing on the wall considering his replacements have a combined 15 MLB games played.
Feels like the Giants were probably considering this long before the season started. Just a matter of what return they wanted.

if you’ve watched any of landens starts he’s clearly an emotional guy. talks to himself before every pitch and shows quite a lot of expression/emotion on the mound.
he’s never gonna want to come out of the game.

This is what annoys me about the @SFGiants, why wasn’t Gage the 1st lefty out of the bullpen to begin with?! Why did it have to be Borucki?!?! Sometimes the way Vitello manages this bullpen is beyond frustrating. It’s not all his fault but some of it is.
