Yes. The big consignors pay from 1%-3% total fees, which is why only a fool sells higher value cards on their own account. The fee for this item would have cost just $160 had he have sent it to a consignor, AND he would have done zero work and taken zero risk. And also, no 1099-k report.

These boys at the Washington Nationals game thought it was funny to call a man and his wife the “F” word for no reason at all except to try and look like Alpha males in front of the girls that came with them.I do have all of their names, but won’t post them here.

@KimKatieUSA You'd have to be a serious douchebag to believe that a father must be forced to take his young daughters into a men's restroom, where it's very common for men to have their meat hanging into a urinal. Only a complete idiot would have an issue with what this father did.

A father at QuikTrip checked the women’s restroom first and found it empty, so he took his two young daughters inside to use it. While they were washing their hands, another man walked in and started yelling that a guy had no business being in the women’s bathroom with his daughters.

FTP: LAPD killed her dog. He was wearing his Knicks jersey. His name was Jameson. A golden doodle. One of the sweetest, most gentle breeds alive. A neighbor called a noise complaint. That's it. 20+ officers showed up. Then a helicopter. For a noise complaint in an apartment complex. And they shot Jameson dead. In front of his owner. In front of her child. No warning. No de-escalation. Nothing. The media is barely covering this. No headlines. No outrage. Like it never happened. If this was your dog... your child watching... how would you feel? Jameson deserved better. That little boy deserved better. His mama deserved better.

This is beyond ludicrous. Why the hell are U.S. Marines and soldiers saluting a UFC fighter? The military swears an oath to the Constitution, not celebrities, influencers, or the latest personality cult. Watching service members rendered as props for a UFC spectacle is beneath the dignity of the uniform and beneath the dignity of the country.

@Galsen_24 @TwitMasterMike And since the cop didn't witness this, he has no PC. For starters, that's not what harassment is. You're allowed to make people uncomfortable, use profanity, and talk to any human of any age. They should have focused on being intoxicated in public. Everything else is hearsay.

Bro the cop didn’t arrest him for saying ‘fuck’ 😂 He arrested him for being a creep who wouldn’t take no from the girls, kept escalating, and ruined the whole beach for everyone else. First Amendment protects your mouth. It doesn’t protect harassment or public disorder. And the politicians line? Wild deflection. Lock up the guilty ones too — but don’t use it to simp for a beach clown who got checked. Officer did his job. Respect.

@Galsen_24 Every cop in this video broke the law. You don't solicit people to see if they're "offended", and then arrest someone for profanity, which was ruled lawful more than 55 years ago. Moron cops just as bad as the moron they arrested.

Context does help, but you need to actually spend the 3-seconds it takes to obtain facts before typing. $25 in 1983 is the same as paying $84 today. In 1983 a 50-year-old man earned $309. So no, it was not 25% of a weeks work, it was 8%. Today, Mantle would probably do a show, and it would be a min of $750. So yeah, it was ridiculously cheaper to obtain autographs in 1983 after factoring in for inflation and buying power now vs. then.

@BobbySTL1936 10-13 hours of work in 1983 would get you one of those. Context helps. That’s 1/4 weeks work to have someone sign something.

It’s 1993 and you can get Hank Aaron’s autograph for $25 or Willie Mays for $30. I do remember getting Mickey Mantle for $25 around 1983 or 1984. Joe DiMaggio was $30. Gold base ball holder was mandatory equipment back then.

I mean, so...? If they suspended submissions, their backlog will drop relatively quickly and eventually they'll get to the point where they can scale and start up again. I never understand these people who think a company can simply call a temp agency and find people to grade cards. I wish I had Nat's problems.

Skipvue Texas Penal Code §38.02 (Failure to Identify). During a *lawful* detention (reasonable suspicion of criminal activity, person under restraint), you must provide name, residence address & date of birth if requested. Intentional refusal = Class C misdemeanor. Giving false info = Class B misdemeanor. No requirement to produce physical ID/document unless operating a vehicle (§521.025 or §38.02(b-1)). Detention must be lawful.

The dude laid out the absolute blueprint for how to handle a traffic stop. He destroy the officer's strategy of fishing for violations just by staying calm and silent. The officer originally pulled the driver over for minor equipment violations: a dead left taillight and an unlit registration plate bulb. But as we see so often, the initial violation quickly took a backseat to a barrage of casual, probing questions designed to dig for something bigger. The officer started checking boxes—asking where the driver was coming from, where he was going, and if there were any weapons, drugs, or alcohol inside the vehicle. Instead of getting defensive, argumentative, or nervous, this driver completely flipped the script by invoking his constitutional rights with absolute precision: "I don't really wanna answer all these questions." When the officer made it clear the driver was being detained for the traffic infraction, the driver didn't panic. He just set a firm boundary: "So I can remain silent... I'm gonna remain silent." By refusing to take the bait, the driver effectively shut down the officer's strategy. Without any verbal missteps, nervous stumbles, or conflicting stories to build "reasonable suspicion" on, the officer had absolutely nothing extra to work with. Even when the officer exercised his right to order the driver out of the car for a standard safety pat-down, the driver remained cooperative but quiet. He handed over his physical ID, showed his proof of insurance on his phone, and let his silence do the heavy lifting. The result? The officer's tone stayed professional, the boundaries were respected, and the driver walked away with nothing but a verbal warning for the lights. Before cutting him loose, the officer even tried one last ditch effort, asking for consent to search the front of the vehicle. A simple, calm "No" put the final nail in the coffin. You don't need to argue on the side of the road to protect your rights. Know the law, stay calm, keep your mouth shut, and let them drive away empty-handed.
Giggling Ganon@GigglingGanon

We look to our law enforcement officers to hold a higher standard and uphold their oath to the constitution that they took. It's scary when you see a blatant disregard of the rights of a citizen by a law enforcement officer as often by the time they get caught, you have to wonder how many others they violated before finally getting caught. Got an interesting one coming your way soon.

Tell your parents they failed you. Miserably. Go back to A-school, because you have no concept of the United States Constitution, nor the freedoms that you obviously have no interest in protecting. What you should have said is: What is wrong with Cops...it will go so much easier for taxpayers if they just obey the oath they took and follow the law themselves.
