i hope he does, but i think he took a step back from that idea for the same reason he closed dms. he is trying to combat the misinfo and help people, but realized his community (like his dms) would quickly become "depressing" and an onboarding/tech support chat . he obviously doesnt mind helping people, but i think he is really craving a group to collab with other people who already know what they are doing so they can actually help eachother advance. and thats totally understandable, especially as fast as things are changing, its probably essential

So. As you may, or may not, know. I started posting a week ago just to help shed some light on how polymarket works, to stop the onslaught of scammers. But, what I didn't guess... that I should have, is that these assholes ( like @bored2boar ) are copying my posts identically, and still pitching their scammy trading bots and telegram scammer accounts. So instead of killing them off. I've unintentionally made them better and more legitimate because they are giving good alpha... my alpha. Not sure what to do here. Any suggestions?

Your Polymarket bot is failing for one simple reason: Your backtest is USELESS. And it’s not because your strategy is bad. It’s because your data is incomplete. I built 1,000+ bots and 99% of them failed. But this 1% still prints for me DAILY (over $16k public PnL this month). Most people test using APIs, Binance data, or simplified price feeds and think that’s enough. It’s NOT even close. You’re missing order book depth, real spreads, and most importantly actual fill behavior. That’s why your bot looks profitable on paper but breaks the moment you go live. You’re not simulating reality. Fix is simple, but almost nobody does it. Build a recorder and start now. Track every tick of every market you trade, including price changes and full order book depth. Also record every external data source you rely on like NOAA, ESPN, Binance, or Coinbase. And don’t just track the active window. You need pre-window and post-window data too, because timing is where most of the edge comes from. The biggest mistake is fills. If your model assumes perfect execution, it’s already wrong. That’s exactly why people complain about getting only 40% fills live. They never tested it properly. You need scale. At least 1000 windows for statistical confidence, which is around 10 days on 15m markets. NO real data means NO real edge. Just a strategy that works only in your imagination. Preparing a full guide for you, dropping in ~24 hours.

Prompt - Launch at minimum of 12 agents to debug this repo. Look at redundancies you can remove, old code, ai slop, bugs, missing dependencies, logic errors, failed smoke tests etc. Any bugs found, fix them, and relaunch 12 more agents to do the same thing. Each relaunch look at different areas or from different angles. Do this recursively until you have two passes with zero issues found Results: A claude opus 4.6 prompt that ran for 18 hours straight and emptied my cluade max code for the week. Don't do this
