They are turning a waste and storage issue (millions upon millions of barrels of waste brine) into dollars. They are doing this domestically in the US. In the Permian basin - where 19m barrels of brine are produced DAILY. Look at this from an ESG angle - it makes sense. All in it costs them $6.2k/tonne to deliver their lithium. @MayneReport Potentially - depends what sort of demand they had in the insto world mate - probably stats we won’t ever know. The bank involved make plenty out of the green shoe that’s for sure! Origination fees, JLM fees etc

@QHCapital Agree with most of what you say here, although reckon Gina may have bid for more and been scaled? Where does the 15% Greenshoe fit in? Could that have been used to accommodate Gina? Given no broker fees are paid on the Greenshoe, do the banks involved profit in the after-market?

Sent these questions to Commsec today, before news broke of Gina’s $US1 billion special allocation from Elon on SpaceX float. Now even more important that Commsec gets out of the bunker & embraces some basic transparency on the role our biggest bank played in the $US75b raise.

@Invest_RCH Yeah i can see what you mean. I suppose it depends on a lot of factors. If they can move v quickly and get doe funding and the market prices then (post nasdaq listing)… it could run. Let’s aim for 1bn first 😬😬

Has the market looked at $LIB.v $VLTLF from an ESG angle yet? Think about it: 19/20m barrels of oil brine, which is waste, gets produced EVERY DAY. In the Permian alone. What the hell are they going to do with all that waste? It can get processed by water partners and pumped back into the ground, sure. OR. You can run it through @LibertyStreamIP tech and produce a DOMESTIC supply of battery grade high spec lithium. We are so damn early. Adding every opportunity I can. This will be a (multi) billion dollar business by 2027. 🚀

Wow suprised $LIB.V isn't up more after their Vegas presentation. They've locked in the Li price for the first two years with their offtake partner, why? To allow for debt financing. The market had been worried about how they will fund their ambitious expansion plans.

$LIB.v $VLTLF 10,000 tonnes of lithium off-take demand anticipated. That’s F’n enormous. At $24k a tonne, that’s $240m of revenue a year. For a $250m CAD company that’s wanting to uplist to NASDAQ this year…. This will multiple FAST. 🔥🚀

@QHCapital @BetterIRR Hopefully a good amount, but I think just the visibility getting a DoE grant would give them would help propel the stock upwards. They seem like a shoe-in, when you read the description of what some of these grants are for
