The victim’s brother is himself a serving police officer. There seems every case for the officer’s arrest and charge in fact. Palestinian children should wake up feeling excited to go to school and play with their friends. Instead, for those murdered in Rafah, their last moments on this earth were filled with unimaginable fear as bombs rained down on their tents. What a monstrous failure of humanity.

I have just returned from a medical mission to Gaza. I am sharing my experiences with you to raise awareness of the level of destruction these people are enduring. The hospital corridors, entrances, lobby were all full of patients, their family and displaced people.

Hind Rajab. She was alive in a car after five of her family had been murdered. She phoned for help and an ambulance was sent to the scene. Her car was surrounded by Israeli tanks. She went missing. Today her body has been found. Murdered in cold blood. Aged 6.

The free people of Ireland have been at the forefront of the fight for a free Palestine. Inspired to see the solidarity here across so many sectors of society. The government needs to follow and add its voice to the ICJ genocide trial against Israel.
